The Supply Technician CIPBO shall work within a framework of established regulations, policies, and procedures, or other governing property management guidelines.
Responsibilities:
  • Deals with a variety of operating officials regarding limited aspects of program needs of the organization serviced.
  • Reviews and annotates changes to unit material condition status report; posts transactions to the organizational and Installation Property Books and supporting transaction files.
  • Edits all received supply transactions and posts as applicable.
  • Generates hand receipts, ad hoc reports and other accountability documentations as directed.
  • Edits and performs quality assurance and quality control checks during input of data from source documents.
  • Maintains asset visibility; provides hand receipt holders complete and accurate hand receipts
  • Correctly catalogs all property prior to approval for posting to the Property Book utilizing GCSS-Army and the SSN-LIN Automated Management & Integrating System (SLAMIS).
  • Will perform warehouse operations to include responsibility for Class II, IV, VII and VIII expendable, nonexpendable, and durable property for the CIPBO and supported customers and responsibility for processing transactions which affect the property book records.
  • Will accomplish limited management and operation of the CIPBO accountable records using GCSS-A Property Book module.
  • Will inventory, receipt, and process documentation; maintain turn-in; and handle or otherwise carry out warehousing actions, and update file of DA Form 1687 (Notice of Delegation of Authority), Receipt for Supplies and appointment orders.
  • Will perform the Army Network Station’s (ANS) Department of Activity Address Code (DODAAC) coordinator functions for Fort Sill and supported units.
  • Will receive notification from customers to request, change, or delete DODAACs.
  • Verify submitted data is correct and coordinate with LOGSA on additions, deletions, or changes to DSS designation.
  • Will notify the unit that the transaction has been completed when confirmed by LOGSA.
  • Will request new, changes to, and deletions of existing RICs as required, through LOGSA.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum one (1) year of civilian or military experience in property administration.
  • Must possess and continuously maintain a current driver’s license.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) for computer access.
  • Functional knowledge of computer systems and Department of the Army Unit Supply System (Manual Procedures)
  • GCSS-Army Property Book experience is preferred.
  • Military Occupational Specialty 92Y is preferred.
