Duties

  • Provides supervisory oversight to the directorate Supply Technicians. Accountable Officer for NAF property including fixed assets, buildings, NAF vehicles, expendable property, equipment and supplies.
  • Ensures all program managers are certifying their property hand receipts annually. Operates a DFMWR central warehouse within regulatory policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Serves as Directorate liaison to DPW for work order support, and assists with Directorate safety compliance. Manages the periodic NAF excess property sales. Serves as the Facilities Management representative for DFMWR.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Conditions of Employment

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Must meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required for this position.
  • Fork lift license must be obtained in the first two weeks on the job if not already held.
  • Collateral safety officer training must be completed within one month on the job if not already held.
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks, hand trucks (dollies) and personally lift 40 pounds safely.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements are:
Demonstrated ability and experience/ education to perform the level of the duties to be performed.

Applicants meeting the following will be considered Highly Preferred:
1. Must possess at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
2. Must possess at least one year Army NAF Supply experience over more than one program.
3. Must possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

**Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. All others will be referred if management does not make a selection from the Highly Preferred list**

Hours of operation 0730-1600 Monday to Friday, plus Saturday NAF Property sales and other occasional tasks outside regular business hours such as donations receiving, etc.

Locations: position works in building 5225 but covers all of DFMWR so on post travel is frequent.
