Job Title:* Camp Margaritaville Supervisor - RV Resort
Department: RV Resort
Reports To: Campgrounds Manager

SUMMARY*
Responsible for the day-to-day campground operations with a focus on ensuring guests enjoy their stay, the campground is effectively maintained, reservations are processed, guest are efficiently checked-in, retail sales are processed, problems are solved, and a quality work environment is provided for the staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Effective and comprehensive communication with campground manager
• Hiring, training, guidance, and scheduling of seasonal, part-time, and full-time staff
• Providing customer service including answering questions and addressing issues
• Monitoring and execution of office operations, groundskeeping, and bath house cleaning
• Monitoring and ordering supplies
• Monitoring, ordering, and inventory of retail items
• Scheduling vehicle and golf cart maintenance
• Participation and coordination of campground events
• Coordination with other departments such as Maintenance, IT, Marketing, Administration, and Human Resources
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES*
Directly supervise 10+ employees in the Campground Department. Carries out manager responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Properties including but not limited to: RV Resort, Shoal Creek Campground and Chesnut Ridge Campground.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid drivers license and clean MVR for three years.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE*
Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience with hospitality or recreational supervising preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS*
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS*
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY*
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS*
Valid Driver License and clean Motor Vehicle report.
