The Supervisor, Accelerator Operations at the NorthStar Beloit campus is responsible for the supervision of accelerator operations including other site activities that occur between the hours of 6 pm and 6 am (shift handoff will be required in addition). Responsibilities to include direct supervision of employees in a medical/pharmaceutical environment and ensuring compliance with cGMP standards, FDA regulations, and company policies. Work hours are on a rotating 12 hour per day PM schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Direct supervision of accelerator operator employees on campus between 6 pm and 6 am including weekends.
- Ensures vigilance to the production schedule to meet customer demands and reduce overtime.
- Demonstrates an ability to lead in a fast-paced environment in regards to production goals, standards, mindsets and behaviors both on and off the production flooEnsure strict adherence to quality, safety, regulatory and written procedures in the manufacture of products following OSHA, FDA and cGMP regulations and guidelines.
- Follow the proper escalation process to address safety or quality concerns.
- Participate and performs effectively in a team environment and interact with multiple departments to ensure the operational success of the team.
Bachelor’s Degree in management, science, technology, or engineering and three years of leadership experience within a cGMP manufacturing environment. Prior experience managing small high performing teams is desired. Experience working in a regulated (FDA) environment is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude is required, a scientific background is preferred.
