Your Opportunity

Stantec ChemRisk is seeking exceptional scientists with undergraduate and graduate degrees and training in toxicology, environmental health sciences, risk assessment, industrial hygiene, occupational health, epidemiology, computational sciences, and public health. We are continuously considering applications for professional and internship positions in San Francisco, CA; Aliso Viejo, CA; Boulder, CO, Chicago, IL; Arlington, VA; Brooklyn, NY, Pittsburgh, PA; Boston, MA; and Cincinnati, OH.

Selected candidates will be required to pass a drug, background, and reference screening prior to receiving an offer.

Your Responsibilities

  • Performing quantitative and qualitative exposure and risk assessments
  • Critically evaluating and summarizing the scientific literature
  • Leading the production of technical work products, presentations, and proposals
  • Leading in the development of scientific manuscripts and conference presentations
  • Participating in and leading company training and collaborative professional development efforts

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Ability to work in one of the markets listed in this posting
  • Training in toxicology, environmental health sciences, risk assessment, industrial hygiene, occupational health, epidemiology, computational sciences, and public health
  • Ability and willingness to pass a drug, background, and reference screening prior to receiving an offer

Education and Experience

  • Undergraduate and graduate degrees
  • 5 years of related experience

Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s):

Salary Range(s):

  • $81,800 - $118,700 (NYC location only)

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.

Benefits Summary: Full-time and part-time employees have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).
