C & B Equipment, a progressive family-owned company that has grown over 30 years to include John Deere Ag, material handling and power sports locations, has an opening for a Summer Part-Time General Labor - Parts individual at its John Deere Dealership located in Rexburg, ID. This position supports the Parts Department in the safe and efficient stocking, inventory control, and delivery of parts to internal and external customers. General Labor employees assist with the general maintenance and operation of the department and may assist with a variety of duties as assigned and directed by store management. Essential

Essential Duties:

  • Assisting the Parts Manager and parts employees in the efficient operation of the department.
  • Cleaning, organizing and maintaining the condition of the Parts Department, vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
  • Assisting with the shipping and unloading of parts, including packing and unpacking, loading and unloading, delivery and stocking.
  • Pulling parts to fulfill internal and external customer orders.
  • Stocking parts in showroom
  • Preparing and maintaining merchandise displays
  • Delivering parts to service technicians.
  • Inventory Control – tracking, documenting, and assuring that counts are accurate, and that parts are put in the right location. Maintaining organization of parts locations, and following inventory control procedures. Assisting with physical inventory of parts and cycle counts.
  • Reporting parts shortages to the parts manager.
  • Following all safety rules and regulations, assisting with safety inspections and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Completing other duties assigned.
