POSITION SUMMARY:

AEVEX Aerospace is seeking a mid to senior level full-time employee to fill a SUAS Field Service Representative position.

The Field Service Representative will be responsible for supporting Aircraft mission systems integration, wiring of electrical components and fabrication of various electronic enclosures.

Essential Functions:

n
• Plan and perform electrical engineering research, design development and other assignments in conformance with design, engineering and customer specifications.

• Supporting aircraft mission systems integration

  • Cable building, wire stripping and crimping, soldering, installation of avionics equipment
  n
  • Ability to use electronic test equipment and diagnostic tools
  n
  • Analyze data and production reports
  n
  n

• Machining and toolingn
  n
  • Operate CNC machine and other fabrication machines
  n
  • Ability to work with hand tools and power tools
  n
  • Maintenance and upkeep of machines and tools
  n
  • Soldering
  n
  • Knowledge of Mil-Spec and Avionics tooling
  n
  n
n
• Ability to read and follow wiring diagrams, drawings and schematics
n
• Maintaining work area for daily operations and cleanliness
n

Qualifications and Education:

n
• Associates or Bachelor's in Engineering or applicable technical field
n
• 5+ years prior experience
n
• Detail oriented and capable with working in a team environment
n
• Hold a current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI within 6 months
n
• Job may require up to 25% travel throughout the year to CONUS and or OCONUS locations
n
