Job Summary
The Human Development Institute is seeking a Student Informatician to work on the Kentucky Disability and Public Health in Higher Education Grant. In this position, the Informatician will develop and deliver public health and disability content to students with disabilities in higher education through community outreach, engagement, and information sharing. The Informatician will be responsible for reviewing existing data sources, identifying mechanisms for sharing information, developing resources and marketing content to students with disabilities. Content may include but is not limited to social determinants of health, mental health, employment, dimensions of health and other public health issues.

This position will advance HDI’s mission and strategic plan. While there are physical, psychosocial and cognitive requirements of the position, the work can be accommodated for essential functions being completed in a variety of ways. In alignment with HDI core values, this position will contribute to a workplace in which individual differences are recognized, appreciated, respected and responded to in ways that fully develop and utilize each person’s talents and strengths.
