Job description
Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a Structural Steel Detailer/Designer in the DFW area.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare drawings with precision, incorporate all details with the drawings
- Study rough sketches and be able to revise them per markups
- Be able to work in 3D with Advanced Steel or Inventor software
- Be able to work in metric for the fabrication drawings
- Precision in detailing and an eye for detail is essential (All fabrication has +/-1mm tolerance)
- Strong communication skills
- Some Architectural experience
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years drafting Experience (2 year minimum in steel detailing)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Mechanical or Structural Degree is advantageous
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree desired but not required; equivalent work experience will be considered.
Skills Required:
Detail-oriented team player, possessing the ability to work independently.
MS Office skills required (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
