Job Summary

The Strong Parents Coordinator for the Windows to Healing program is responsible for coordinating all components of A Windows to Healing- AWTH for the Strong Mothers and Strong Fathers program. S/he will work with program staff to identify, assess, support and coordinate service activities for mothers, fathers & children who’ve experienced and/or are at-risk for domestic violence, and for fathers who’ve been identified as abusers. The coordinator will ensure that all participants are provided with proper, quality services consistent with their needs - to promote healthy growth and development in themselves and their children. Under the direction of the Strong Mothers and Strong Fathers Directors the Strong Parents Coordinator will collect and analyze data. Furthermore, the Coordinator will support front line program operations and conduct individual/group interventions, as determined by program leadership, based on program need.

Salary Range: $27.47 - $35.43

Major Responsibilities/Activities

  • Work with program staff to identifyand coordinate services for program participants
  • Coordinate and facilitate weekly workshops for program participants
  • Complete intakes and risk assessments
  • Link participants with resources in the community, including health clinics, educational resources, and vocational and employment opportunities
  • Manage relationships with key partners and service providers involved in this initiative
  • Outreach and engage with community partners to build referral relationships
  • Administer various programmatic functions including but not limited to data collection, monthly reporting
  • Perform other duties, as designated by the Directors of the Fathering and Mothering program.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in service delivery and/or administration working with participants around development, healthy relationships, sexual health, or parenting
  • Experience with group facilitation; ability to communicate effectively with participants of diverse social, economic, and demographic backgrounds
  • Experience with outreach and community organization
  • Bilingual, English and Spanish preferred.
