The store manager is responsible for overseeing and participating in the day-to-day operations of this UPS store. He/she will be a key member of the team and will be an active participant in all aspects of operations including packing, shipping, scheduling, opening, closing, inventory management, training, productivity, and profitability. The Store manager is ultimately accountable for profit/loss through continuous improvement of service delivery levels, personal management, and business growth. To succeed you will need to lead the team by example and be a role model in the daily operations of the center.
Responsibilities:
The store manager is responsible for overseeing and participating in the day-to-day operations of this UPS store. He/she will be a key member of the team and will be an active participant in all aspects of operations including packing, shipping, scheduling, opening, closing, inventory management, training, productivity, and profitability. The Store manager is ultimately accountable for profit/loss through continuous improvement of service delivery levels, personal management, and business growth. Responsibilities:
- Packing, shipping, mail/package management, copying, faxing, and notary services;
- Performs personnel management, which includes scheduling, training, and coaching team members (including timesheet review and submission for payroll processing);
- Monitors customer service delivery and ensures customer satisfaction (including UPS claims resolution);
- Manages inventory levels and monitors daily sales;
- Oversee store maintenance including cleanliness, safety, and organization.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail store management experience required (1-year min with references);
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail;
- Willing to accept full accountability for store operation;
- Exceptional customer service skills;
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft office suites;
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment;
- Desire to quickly learn all aspects of the business;
- Minimum education: High School or equivalent.

Weekly day range:
- Monday-Friday (with opportunity for Saturday hours)
