PATH is seeking candidates with some experience in human resources and staffing to join our growing Human Resources Department as a Staffing & Recruitment Coordinator. This is a fast-paced position that plays a key role in supporting our PATH's programs and mission to end homelessness, so strong organizational, time management, and customer service skills are a must!

WHAT IS A STAFFING & RECRUITMENT COORDINATOR?
As part of the Human Resources team, the Staffing & Recruitment Coordinator will be focused on onboarding, offboarding, and various responsibilities related to our growing number of Temporary staff. Responsibilities of the Staffing & Recruitment Coordinator include:

  • Coordinating the onboarding process for our temp staff:
    • Preparing paperwork in accordance with legislative requirements
    • Ensuring all temps complete required onboarding tasks
    • Scheduling and facilitating the coordination of temp onboarding meetings
  • Liaising with recruiting agencies to fill vacancies
  • Reviewing, preparing, and assuring the maintenance of temp employee records
  • Ensuring compliance with internal and external policies and regulations
  • Preparing and submitting reports related to staffing operations
  • Working with the other Staffing & Recruitment Coordinators who are focused on general PATH staff.

WHAT YOU BRING
We're looking for candidates that:

  • Are exceptionally tech-savvy with considerable working knowledge or Microsoft Office
  • Successfully manage complex and stressful situations while maintaining a strong sense of customer service that fosters effective and positive working relationships with fellow employees, the public, and representatives of other agencies
  • Have knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of human resources and staffing
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the CA Public Records Act and best practices related to records management
  • Demonstrate knowledge of statistical and other research methods and procedures
  • Communicate and follow directions effectively both through writing and orally
  • Maintain complex records in an organized manner and prepare report from those records
  • Exercise sound judgement when analyzing facts and arriving at conclusions
  • Have a strong sense of prioritization and can coordinate multiple demands in a high-pressure environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Two (2) years of related experience in human resources, staffing, recruiting, or a related field

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • One (1) year of related experience in human resources, staffing, recruiting, or a related field

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
For this role, candidates must:

  • Have employment eligibility verification
  • Have or be able and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid training
  • Provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Successfully complete the following as a condition of hire:
    • Tuberculosis Test
    • Background Screening
    • Drug Test

DRIVING
Driving is an essential function of this position. To meet the employment requirements for this role, all candidates must:

  • Have reliable transportation
  • A valid driver's license
  • Proof of insurance and ownership for personal vehicles used during work duties
  • The ability to qualify for PATH's insurance coverage


COVID-19 VACCINATION
Effective 11/01/2021 ll require all employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. All prospective hires will be expected to provide proof of full vaccination as part of the pre-employment credentialing process.
