Job description
Oak View Group is hiring a Staff Accountant for our Philadelphia, PA office.

This position will monitor, control, and audit all financial transactions, and perform a full range of professional accounting duties involved in fiscal management, record keeping, reporting, and financial analysis of the facility. Also, supervise administrative staff when applicable.
Oak View Group is a sports and entertainment company engaged in a wide variety of activities, including arena development, facility management, arena and stadium alliance, sponsorships and partnerships, security services, publications, conferences, and consulting. The company, privately held, is headquartered in Los Angeles, California with offices throughout the world.
Responsibilities
  • Daily written and verbal interaction with venues nationwide and international
  • Work directly with Senior Level Management
  • Monthly financial statement preparation for approximately 15-20 venues
  • Sales reconciliations
  • Sales tax preparation
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • AP and AR cycles

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • A minimum of three years of recent accounting experience, particularly in month-end reporting
  • The ability to be a self-starter, handle multiple tasks and meet firm deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel is a must
  • Experience with Sage 100 is a plus
