Staff Accountant Opportunity

Comprehensive EyeCare Partners is one of the nation’s largest vision-care management service organizations. We are currently looking to expand our corporate accounting team with the addition of a staff accountant.

This Staff Accountant position plays an integral role within our team and requires strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for bright energetic individual with a will to learn, improve and develop their careers with us.

Responsible to perform routine to intermediate accounting work related to the preparation and maintenance of financial records, monthly journal entries and perform balance sheet account reconciliations and other projects, as assigned.

This is a full-time position located at our corporate office in Henderson, Nevada.

Here's what you'll need to be a successful STAFF ACCOUNTANT with our team:

• Three years + of full-time professional accounting experience
• Intermediate/advanced Excel skills
• Accounting Problem-solving skills; strong communication skills; comfortable in a team environment
• Well-organized with strong attention to detail
• History of dependability, punctuality, committed work history, honesty, strong work ethic
• Understanding of intercompany transactions, a plus
• High Volume and multiple company experience a plus
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central a plus, but not required
• Strong preference will be given to those with a degree in accounting, business, finance or similar.
• Healthcare experience strongly desired but not required

• Responsible for quality and continuous improvement within the job scope
• General journal entry/posting, account reconciliation and correcting entries
• Month-end closing tasks for multiple companies
• Payroll Journal Entries
• Other Staff Accountant Duties and opportunities for professional growth as assigned
