This is a Remote/Work from Home position reporting to the Sr.QA Manager.

Position Summary:
The Sr. Manual QA Tester position will test and troubleshoot applications developed in Salesforce technology. The holder of this position will effectively collaborate with Development Team and Business Analyst and will release high quality products that contributes to the organization’s success.

What you will do:
  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases based on product specifications.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
  • Execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
  • Monitor debugging process results.
  • Investigate the root causes of non-conforming software.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Qualifications:
  • College degree required; a Computer Science or equivalent technical degree is preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in software development as a QA Test Engineer.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing techniques.
  • Experience testing applications developed in Salesforce technology.
  • Strong experience / demonstrated success releasing high quality products.
  • line knowledge of Linux, Mac, and Windows-Working command.
  • Must be detail oriented and methodical.

  • Solving abilities.-Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem
  • Proven ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly.
  • Ability to work in an Agile development environment.

  • Experience in the following is preferred:
  • Testing of embedded products
  • Software testing of Mobile Applications
  • Verifying use cases and creating defects
  • Setup and simulate customers environments
  • Creatively test produce to find defects
  • Basic knowledge of databases included MSSQL, MySQL and Couchbase
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a high-quality results-driven, team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to use discretion, make sound decisions, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours and travel (up to 5%) may include overnight and out-of-state travel.
  • Proficient in MS Office, modern communication tools for virtual teams (i.e., MS Teams).

Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time: · Sitting, standing, and walking (95-100%)
  • Keyboarding (70-90%)
  • Viewing computer monitor, tablet, and cell phone requiring close vision (70-90%)
Work Environment: 100% Remote:
Work environment is primarily indoors at home, vendor site, or other business meeting venue, exposure to all types of weather and temperature conditions during travel, and exposure to hazardous driving and traffic conditions. Travel (up to 5%) may include overnight and out-of-state travel.

Compensation:
