Live events are back, and we are busier than ever!! We are looking to add a Sr. Event Manager, Content & Learning to our Events Department. This position is instrumental in helping clients deliver content effectively.

You will report directly to VP of Content & Learning and be based out of our corporate office in Duluth GA. We operate in a hybrid capacity (typically two days a week in the office) so you must be comfortable coming into the office.

What You'll Do:

· Collaborate with internal Nth Degree teams to resolve challenges and fulfill client requests.

· Serve as primary resource for assigned clients. Communicates client direction and decisions to team.

· Acts as the ‘voice of authority’ that brings experience and expertise to the customer conversations, instilling trust, and confidence with customer.

· Responsible for quality control of projects.

· Lead and mentor team members and provide direction on client needs and deliverables.

· Liaise with Marketing, A/V, Signage, and Space Management teams on assigned clients.

· Lead the Call for Submission process, from the creation of the Call for Submission form to sending speaker notifications.

· Manage the relationship, timelines, deadlines, and deliverables for speakers.

· Assist in modifying the speaker management technical solution to support the needs of each project.

· Participate in the build-out of the Speaker Resource Center.

· Develop and manage the master timeline for planning, execution, and delivery of projects; assist in assessing work requirements and attempt to create an even workload for the project team.

· Manage budget and budget reporting; communicate budget changes and provide recommendations.

· Proof and edit all content-related materials for event-related marketing deliverables.

· Create speaker communications for client review and approval.

· Produce and distribute scheduled and ad-hoc reports.

· Maintain speaker records.

· Manage Nth Degree’s speaker management team and overall on-site activity.

· Coordinate, manage and attend client and internal meetings.

· Continuously seeking improvements to systems and process; share expertise and best practices.

· Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

· 10+ years’ progressively responsible experience in event management; agency exposure and speaker management experience preferred

· Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat proficiency; familiarity with event management systems, such as Cvent and RainFocus, preferred

· Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce effective presentations and business copy.

· Communicate horizontally and vertically; keep all informed of decisions and challenges.

· Superior project management skills and attention to detail

· Ability to solve problems with a creative, flexible, and resourceful approach.

· Expert time management skills with ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and to manage competing priorities.

· Initiative: strong self- motivation, with a desire to make an impact.

· Mental agility and toughness; ability to learn quickly, prioritize and work under pressure, adapt to a rapidly changing environment and demonstrate a sense of urgency while not being overly sensitive, quickly frustrated or easily flustered.

· Ability to manage large and complex budgets; includes negotiation, forecasting, and expense tracking; solid understanding of basic accounting concepts, such as revenue, net revenue, direct costs, profit, and margin.

· Ability to travel up to 25%
