Farnsworth Group is seeking a
Sr.
Electrical Engineer in either our
Belleville, Champaign, Lisle, Peoria, or Springfield, IL, Indianapolis, IN, or St. Louis, MO offices. In this role, you will serve as an electrical design engineer supporting local and nationwide clients. Facility types include healthcare, commercial, long-term care, industrial, and educational facilities.
Job Activities:
- Responsible for planning, conducting, and coordinating detailed phases of design
- Develop electrical construction packages
- Provide quality assurance for lighting, power systems, fire alarm, communications, and data
- Develop and foster both internal and external client relationships
- Present design reviews to clients
- Support/assist development of project proposals and schedules
- Develop scopes and budget estimates for electrical discipline work
- Provide direction to Designers and CAD Technicians
Specific Requirements include:
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- Licenses/Registrations: Professional Engineer License (PE) strongly preferred
- 8 + years of Building Electrical and Lighting Design experience
- Application knowledge of electrical, building, and energy codes is desired
- A strong knowledge of the requirements of NEC 517 is desired
- Strong verbal and writing skills
- Strong background with Microsoft® Office, AutoCAD and REVIT
- Ability to travel
