About the role

The Sr Director Channel Partnerships wins, maintains, and expands relationships with assigned channel partners and is key to driving the ambition for what we want these partnerships to provide throughout the strategic cycle.


This role is responsible for the activation of colleagues within the Adecco Group business untis – Akkodis, LHH and Adecco including of training, lead generation, sales support, and incentives. As a core competency, this role needs to be commercially capable, with an eye towards developing these partnerships in a sales capacity.


This leader is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, delivery excellence and partnership objectives. They represent the entire range of Pontoon solutions to assigned partners though may focus on a specific solution or product set if focused on a partner vertical market. This role will be tasked with identifying additional channel sources outside of the VMS marketplace which could be, but not limited to: staffing firms, ATS, CRM, etc.


The Sr Director, Channel Partnerships reports to the Global Head of Sales.

What you’ll be doing
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
  • As they have full access to all of Pontoon’s resources, they mobilize these resources to programmatically consider where and how we should invest our partnership time and dollars.
  • In accordance with the above, they track inputs and outputs of the time spent by their Pontoon colleagues.
  • Coordinates the involvement of Pontoon sales team and sales operations.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales activities and volume.
  • Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Fosters sales in coordination with partner sales resources.
  • Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
  • Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements.
  • Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners.
  • Accomplishes department objectives by managing, planning, and evaluating staff activities.
  • Management of staff includes, but is not limited to, activities such as interviewing and selection of employees, department/team engagement and development.
  • Responsible for creating an equitable work environment when setting and adjusting rates of pay and hours of work; directing the work of employees; appraising employees’ productivity and efficiency for the purpose of recommending promotions or other changes in status.
About you

Bachelor Degree in Sales and Marketing or the equivalent preferred but not required. Ten (10) years of sales experience, including five (5) years managerial experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Broad knowledge of sales/service requirements and marketing/presentation techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate groups and individuals.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
