American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the Global leader in the Corporate Payments Solutions space and subsequently continues to be an exciting and fast-growing business. The Global Pricing, Performance & Transformation (PP&T) team within GCS, is instrumental in leading data driven insights to elevate customer engagement, accelerate sales and drive profitable charge volume growth for the organization.



This is an exciting opportunity as this position will be having a comprehensive PP&T International view on strategies and deliverables as well as relationship with the International LT & their teams within International Card Services (ICS). This role will report to the Manager of PP&I International HQ and will play a meaningful role in supporting the development of these strategies plus analytics to drive growth and execution while working alongside senior leadership. The team is focused on driving business strategy based on analytics.



Our aim is to improve the business decision-making process by providing insightful and analytical recommendations across the ICS organization to drive business growth by highlighting trends, risks and opportunities throughout international. The individual will also be responsible for supporting global standardization efforts in reporting and processes, developing and implementing process improvements, and driving automation to gain efficiencies across core activities and functions.



Key Responsibilities include:

  • Creation of senior leadership reporting, data analysis, planning and performance measurement. The role requires the use of data to convey business results and provide actionable insights
  • Provide thought leadership to analyze and lead strategic business initiatives to drive performance and profitability across International Sales and AD. Solve ambiguous/ open ended business challenges
  • Collaboration with PP&T leadership and regional teams, and internal business partners (I.E. Finance, Sales Enablement, Marketing)
  • Critical thinking and ability to find opportunities to initiate new analysis that creates a positive impact on business
  • Enable the roadmap (processes, systems) to continue transforming and evolving HQ organization
  • Lead all aspects of the Planning and Forecast process for Intl in liaison with regional teams, as well as central PP&I team plus Finance, Marketing and additional partners
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with teammates across the globe in order to maintain consistency and collaboration across International PP&T

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong Strategic & Analytical Thinking. This role requires extensive analytical experience with big data to support the business in reviews and special projects. Ability to connect the dots and see the bigger picture in order to link business strategies to specific initiatives
  • Change management: Be an agent of change, ability to initiate and adapt to change. Provides solutions to address business transformation, strategic alignment, technology implementation and culture change. Incorporate risk mitigation planning/execution
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills: Superior ability to communicate effectively and clearly to a broad audience across regions/levels/business units. Ability to view contrary perspectives, negotiate and gain agreement while building and maintaining relationships
  • Proven delivery on results in a fast paced and highly matrixed environment. Strong teamwork required with their colleagues and other teams, and ability to manage multiple priorities across different workstreams
  • 4-5 years of relevant work experience with Degree in Finance or experience equivalent is desirable, however not essential
  • Experience in Customer Relationship Management tools (I.E. SFDC, other), as well as statistical software programming and models (I.E. SAS, SQL, HIVE, Python) or equivalent. Desired but not a must

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
