Speech Language Pathologist
Job description
We are looking for an energetic Speech Language Pathologist excited to work in pediatrics. We are an established outpatient rehabilitation facility located north of Houston in The Woodlands, TX. We are willing to train therapists to become part of our dynamic staff.
Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities:
- Provide treatments for:
- Feeding and myofunctional disorders
- structural and sensory-motor based speech disorders
- Developmental speech/language disorders
- Social-pragmatic disorders
- Interventions for breastfeeding infants.
- Conduct initial and reevaluations using standardized testing materials and complete write-ups in a timely manner.
Speech Language Pathologist Requirements:
Meet the educational requirements through a Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) accredited program
Must meet requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech language pathology (CCC-SLP) granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
Bilingual a plus
