• Experience:One year clinical experience preferred; will accept clinical fellowship.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited Speech Pathology Master’s degree program.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledgeable in assessing, diagnosing, treating and preventing disorders related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing and fluency. Expertise with pediatric feeding, cognitive rehabilitation and augmentative communication highly desired. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.Critical thinking skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision required.
• Licenses/Registrations/Certifications: Current WA State Speech Language Pathologist license. ASHA certification required. Current BLS.

JOB SUMMARY
The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for conducting all diagnostic and therapeutic services, in accordance with the orders of the attending physician, and in accordance with approved policies, procedures and protocols.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work is primarily performed in a clinical office setting and is considered light work. Light work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally. The employee must exert 10-20 pounds of force constantly to move objects and must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.Requires normal/corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires good manual and finger dexterity to operate computers, phones, and handle documents. Requires frequent repetitive hand/wrist motions and finger manipulation. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
