The role of the Communications team is to establish the overarching messaging and communications strategy for the brand, and to get people to talk about Red Bull through media coverage, opinion leader engagement, and partner content amplification. The team develops media relationships, helps to bring opinion leaders into the Red Bull world through experiences, and works with external partners to share our messages. Reporting to the Sr Manager - Media Relations, you will help coordinate media relations activity, from building and managing target media lists of national and international media outlets, developing news angles for important projects and pitching media to produce editorial outcome for the brand. You will also cultivate a personal network of influential journalists in NY across key local, national and international outlets, stay up-to-date with the latest trends in media and key playgrounds and track earned media outcome and impact.

  • GENERATE EARNED MEDIA OUTCOME

    Identify local, national and international media opportunities and associated pitches for Culture, Sports and Brand programs.

    Create 'breakthrough' buzzworthy PR moments and activations to promote coverage of Red Bull essential messaging.

    Update and manage media lists, project plans and coverage trackers.

    Build relationships with local, national and international media.

  • COMMUNICATIONS PLANNING

    Collaborate with team members on Communications plans.

    Oversee accurate representation of the Red Bull brand in all earned media activations.

    Measure outcome using analytic tools and report results to all contributors.

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:
  • 2+ years of PR / Communications experience marketing high profile brands or agency account management.
  • Managed different projects at different stages of delivery while meeting all project goals on time and on budget.
  • Plan, prioritize and project management competencies.
  • Salary range is $70,000 - $100,000 (Actual salary offer may vary based on experience) + incentives (bonus, car stipend or company vehicle)
