Customer Accounting Specialist
As part of the VF Credit team, the Customer Accounting Specialist is responsible for applying cash to customer accounts, analyzing payments and deduction data to initiate process changes, and supporting Credit Specialists on account transactions and brand programs.
How You Will Make a Difference

Responsible for prompt and accurate application of payments received for sales on customer accounts across multiple systems. Application includes coding of deductions and chargebacks taken by the customer with payment.

Works internally with Credit Specialists and other team members in resolving remittance or chargeback discrepancies.

Runs reports and reconciles spreadsheets as needed.

Provides general support by answering/routing telephone calls, maintaining files and performing miscellaneous projects as requested.
- This position is working on Hybrid model, and requires working in the Appleton, WI office at least two days per week, with flexibility to work remotely other days.

Skills for Success

Years of Related Professional Experience: 1-2 years of credit/accounts receivable preferred
Educational Position Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent education; Associate’s degree preferred*Equivalent years of experience in a substantially similar industry may be considered in lieu of a degree to be determined by the nature of the specific job and the hiring manager’s criteria.

Strong Excel knowledge with ability to create and manipulate pivot table and v lookups

Strong organizational skills
