POSITION SUMMARY:

The Telehealth Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing the project management, change management, and successful implementation of assigned various sized technical and process improvement projects. Cross-team coordination, project management, process design, and executive communication are essential.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Initial responsibilities will include supporting the Telehealth implementation processes to better understand the Telehealth service lines and business including:

  • Perform project management basics including delegating tasks, coordinating schedules, developing work plans, managing timelines, and providing ongoing status communications.
  • Develop partnerships with stakeholders and facilitate clear communication all aspects of ongoing initiatives.
  • Assist in defining and executing on process improvement efforts.
  • Drive timely and successful completion of project deliverables.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely project documentation
  • Create original work product as necessary to support deliverables, e.g., writing policies and procedures, creating workflow documents, researching regulatory matters.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical/other constraints.
  • Focus heavily on cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on key decisions and statuses.


SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Project management experience, certification strongly encouraged.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.
  • Ability to align all work efforts with organization’s overall mission and strategies.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Skill in organization, prioritization, and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs and continuously meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Education

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a related field such as operations management, business management, or healthcare management. Experience
  • Must have Project Management experience, and it is preferred to have some healthcare industry experience.

  • Indoor office environment
  • Light travel required.


OTHER PHYSICAL AND/OR SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS ABOUT YOUR JOB: such as lifting, sitting for long periods of time, climbing stairs, etc.

  • Sitting at desk for up to eight hours (w/breaks)
  • Working on computer for up to eight hours (w/breaks)
