Scope of Position

The Spa Runner is responsible for greeting guests upon arrival, escort them to the locker rooms, lounge areas and hospitality stations. He will promote and provide top quality customer service and hospitality as well as recommend and educate guests and members on services available at me Spa and Wellness Collective.

Position Requirements

• Professional demeanor appropriate for a luxury environment.
• Prior experience in spa or hospitality, preferred.
• Positive attitude, punctuality and passion for excellence.
• Safety Oriented First Aid and CPR certification, a plus.
• Guest services experience preferred.
• Handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Offer guests amenities such as water, juice, snacks or heated neck pillows.
• Knowledgeable about general property information and amenities.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstation, treatment rooms, spa/salon locker room, and lounge areas.
• Dispose of trash and dirty linens in the proper area.
• Secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.
• Stock towels, linens, supplies, and amenities in the locker room and lounge areas.
• Engage with guests and members; be visible.
• Assist guest with any needs.
• Ensure cleanliness of all areas in the Spa
• Maintain and restock the restrooms.
• Transport linen carts back and forth between the building.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management.

Education

• High school diploma; a 2 year degree from accredited college preferred.

Skills and Abilities

• Ability to communicate in the English language. Second language is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks.
• Experience using computers and software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be physically fit in order to lift, pull and push items up to 50 pounds.
• Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift.
