• Collaborate with the design and development teams to provide input on the initial design and development of product test solutions, considering customer requirements.
• Engage in all aspects of the test development release process, including parts specification and procurement, hardware and system integration, software revision support, characterization, qualification, and installation support for manufacturing.
• Integrate tools and code developed by internal teams or external customers into the test development process.
• Utilize design of experiments, tools, and failure analysis methodologies to debug and optimize test solutions.
• Implement production test systems that optimize critical resources, maximize throughput, repeatability, and reliability, while minimizing cost and expanding capacity.
• Lead productivity projects, managing action trackers and collaborating with development and production support teams to drive improvement.
• Communicate effectively with remote development team members, external suppliers, and customers.
• Review and provide input on development designs in collaboration with experienced engineering teams.
• Apply a continuous improvement mindset to all aspects of the development process and operational support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Applied Science or Engineering in Computer, Electrical, Software, or Computer Science.
• Knowledge of materials and components used in the construction of electronics, printed circuit boards, and electrical subassemblies.
• Familiarity with electronics industry and production quality standards.
• Ability to evaluate technical documentation, analyze data, and identify root causes of problems.
• Proficiency in testing software, processes, methodologies, and failure analysis.
• Understanding of cable television signal distribution technologies, including Cable Set-top-boxes, Routers, and other distribution hardware.
• Knowledge of RF technologies and concepts up to 10GHz.
• Experience with Cellular Communications preferred (4G-LTE and 5G).
• Familiarity with optical communication technologies and concepts.
• Knowledge of IT platforms, databases, and programming languages relevant to the field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of software development experience with at least one language (National Instruments LabView, C# - C++, or Python preferred).
• Project leadership, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple activities.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external customers.
• Background in engineering development and manufacturing operations support is preferred (not mandatory).
• Experience in operations, particularly in electronics manufacturing, is preferred (not mandatory).
• Familiarity with hardware development, integration, and qualification is preferred (not mandatory).
