About the team:

iQ is our latest generation payments self-service and reporting platform. It's a one-stop portal where you can view and act upon your payments data to assist you in making more informed business decisions

What you will be doing:

• Create design/architecture plans and solution requirements and deliver project capabilities.
• Drive innovation and operational performance in the deployment of new functionality, services, and products.
• Deliver detailed design/architecture plans and solution requirements assessment.
• Address challenges of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platform integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in driving operating and service excellence
• Improve project delivery and provide recommendations for process improvement
• Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
• Identifies new solutions and opportunities in Worldpay's service offerings. Handles multiple tasks and can switch between them.
• Attend overnight releases when needed
• Demonstrates excellence in technical assessment and implementation coordination.
• Executes continuous improvement efforts and delivery commitments are met consistently.
• Consistently creates successful engagements on projects and with cross-functional teams.

What you bring:

• 10+ years of experience in software development methodologies and best practices.
• 7+ years of experience building applications using Java, Spring, Spring boot, JavaScript and HTML
• 5+ years of experience with Angular JS
• 5+ years of experience with cloud computing, AWS and microservices technologies
• 3+ years of experience building web services in REST with technologies like spring boot, spring-ws and spring MVC
• 10+ years of experience in developing highly scalable and reliable web applications, including integration with internal and external systems.
• 5+ years in a technical lead position is preferred.
• Experience working collaboratively using SAFe and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience in databases technologies like SQL server, Cassandra, and DB2 preferred.
• Working experience with GIT, GitHUB, etc. around continuous integration and continuous delivery infrastructure.
• A bachelor’s in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or equivalent experience.

Added bonus if you have:

• DevOps Background is a plus.
• Masters Degree is a plus.
