Overview: The Software Developer position will be responsible for developing solutions using Microsoft technologies. Specifically, this position will be creating internal applications/processes and maintaining existing routines. Many are non-UI, console applications which consume data provided through third party APIs while some web-based applications are also within scope. The Application & Database Developer position will support the software development lifecycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering, technical design, change management, unit testing, user acceptance testing and regression testing through production release.

Responsibilities:

• Work under general direction with the ability to act independently when determining methods and procedures on new or existing functionality
• Assist in the design, development, troubleshooting, implementation, and maintenance of console .NET/C# applications consuming third-party APIs as well as web-based applications
• Develop, troubleshoot, implement and maintain data ETL routines using various tools such as but not limited to C#, SQL Server Integration Services, T-SQL, VisualCron and others
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to establish and refine feature requirements
• Follow and expand SDLC processes and procedures
• Document and perform unit testing
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must consent to and have favorable consumer report, background check and drug/alcohol test
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Management Information Systems or equivalent experience required
• 2+ years of experience in .NET development using C#, MS SQL Server and consuming REST APIs required
• Working knowledge and experience in relational database concepts, design, constraints, custom & complex stored procedures, functions and optimization preferred
• Experience with T-SQL, Integration Services (SSIS) and strong SQL query skills preferred
• Expertise with Visual Studio and source control
• Knowledge of designing and developing in Object Oriented environment
• Experience with Salesforce or Apex is a plus
• Experience developing web services is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
