Job Description: Social Media Manager
Reports To: VP, Brand & Creative
Salary: $18-$22/hr

Job Summary:
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for leading and developing organic social efforts across all branded platforms. The role will assist in gathering content, creating copy, publishing posts and reporting on cross channel analytics. They will serve as the voice of our brand on social media, interacting with loyal customers across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. The person in this role will collaborate with teams on brand messaging and content strategy. This role will work with
third-party platforms and partners, integrating tools and technology and process to deliver a best-in-class social experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead content execution across BBcom social channels.
  • Generate new content ideas that align with and expand on the brand's mission and narrative.
  • Guide curation of user-generated content.
  • Pivot strategy as needed to ensure internal KPI’s are meeting expectations (engagement rate, reach, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain editorial calendars for all social channels.
  • Partner with influencer and growth marketing to identify and surface creators and influencers that align with the brand and brand values.
  • Partner with internal creative teams to concept, brief and create content.
  • Refine community management strategy and guidelines, including customer care.
  • Provide weekly reporting by channel, while understanding analytics are a helpful tool to inform, not a playbook.
Qualifications:
  • A creative, independent thinker who is ahead of trends.
  • Passionate and knowledgeable in the fitness/health and wellness space.
  • Expert in the social media space, with a fluency in the ins and outs of major social media platforms.
  • Deep understanding of storytelling, an eye for visual curation and strong editorial judgment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expertise in developing, maintaining and executing complex editorial and content calendars.
  • Expertise in writing compelling creative briefs for both internal partners and external creators that result in engaging, differentiated content.
  • Experience working with and collaborating and giving feedback to creative teams.
  • Experience with social listening and project management platforms.
  • 5+ years of experience in social media marketing with at least 3 years of experience managing and growing a team.
