Sunstates Security is currently hiring a Full-time Truck Gate Site Supervisor with a pay rate of $22/hr - with weekly pay.

Responsible for the daily functioning of a contract site including operations, project management, customer service, security & safety in accordance with Sunstates objectives. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervisory/Leadership Functions

• Train, develop, motivate, and empower Security Officers to effectively and efficiently oversee all day-to-day operations of the site and promote the highest standards of efficiency, profitability, customer service and ethics.
• Train subordinates on procedural guidelines, company policies, and operational & site specific forms.
• Enforce consistency in policy and procedure implementation with the site(s).
• Promote positive employee relations through meeting and developing a rapport with all internal & external customers, addressing complaints, and resolving issues with regional management guidance.
• Act as the secondary contact for the site and contacting the local office when necessary.
• Will have primary responsibility for staffing, scheduling, Kwantek and WinTeam eHub activity

Operations

• Manage account inspections and the inspection scorecard to assure compliance and meet/exceed our commitment.
• Produce Quality Assurance checks through e-Hub to assure positive results.
• Ensure that you are able to respond to questions for security personnel, respond to site events, foster customer relations/service in order to ensure client retention and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years related supervisory experience to include scheduling experience.
• Must have prior security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Advanced level/knowledge of computers and technology.
• Great customer service and communication skills.
• NC PPSB License Eligible, CPR

Site Specific Responsibilities:

• This position reports to the Site Account Manager for daily operational purposes.
• For scheduling and payroll purposes, this position will communicate directly with the Senior Operations Manager.
• This position will work on-site Monday – Friday, 2nd shift (3pm – 11pm).
• Responsible for the weekly scheduling and staffing of a large industrial complex (approximately 1,000 hrs. per week (multiple posts, all of which are staffed 24/7 including holidays).
• Must be available 24/7 (nights, weekends, and holidays) to receive “call-out” notifications and to subsequently fill all posts.
• Prepare and post weekly work schedules, track and enter all schedule changes, enter into e-Hub in a timely manner.
• Communicate work schedules to all officers 2 weeks in advance.
• Ensure all posts are covered at all times.
• Coordinate PTO and other time off requests with work schedules and staffing needs.
• Recruit new full-time, part-time and flex officers as needed.
• Train all new officers on client protocol/procedures to process inbound and outbound trucks.
• Crosstrain all existing officers to work all posts on the complex.
• Conduct security rounds of the exterior grounds of the complex.
• Respond to incidents on campus such as vehicle accidents, truck accidents, theft, etc.
• Write incident reports for events requiring a report.
• Respond to all posts when officer needs clarification on duties or to assist in handling employees/truck driver incidents, etc.
• Communicate daily/weekly with Site Account Manager, Sunstates Operations Manager, and National Account Manager on any client related issues.
• Ensure all SOPMs are current and up to date and that all officers have signed off on them.
• Ensure all officers have and are wearing appropriate uniforms.
• Ensure all officers’ NC state certifications and CPR certifications are up to date.
• Respond to taskings by the CCCI Security Director.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives. Sun123
