LOCATION The position is based at DrinkPAK's headquarters in Santa Clarita, California.

TEAM The Shuttle Driver will report to the Dock Operations Supervisor.

POSITION This position will be responsible for shuttling raw materials and finished goods between our three facilities on campus and our new Moorpark, CA location. No long haul trips.

TYPE Full Time; Hourly / Non-Exempt

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive vehicles safely from one point to another and address any safety concerns with their direct supervisor
• Perform routine pre-shift inspections of vehicles at the start of each shift
• Perform yard control audits of trailers being moved on our yard
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness at all times by not having objects interfering with the operation of the vehicle and making sure the driver’s visibility is not obstructed
• Manage material in a safe and professional manner in order to fulfill operational needs
• Collaborate and communicate with Batching Supervisor, Warehouse Supervisors, and Production Supervisors to ensure timely and accurate support of production runs
• Review BOLs for accuracy on items being shipped between facilities
• Identify, report, and observe quality issues with finished goods and raw materials
• Provide correct loading document/bills of lading and truck seals upon leaving the facility
• Communicate with Warehouse Supervisors to ensure loading of trucks on time and supply empties, as needed
• Coordinate with Production Supervisors and leadership to ensure all shipments are flowing in and out of warehouse as scheduled
• Compliant to all safety rules and regulations, GMP’s and all DrinkPAK’s policies and procedures
• Establish and maintain high standards for quality, housekeeping and productivity
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma; Associate’s Degree+ preferred
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Field or similar manufacturing / warehouse environment; 2+ years preferred
• Hold a Class A license, Tanker endorsement & Hazmat transport endorsement
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
• Strong time management, organization, and communication skills
• Detail oriented and ability to problem solve and cross check documentation
