What this role is…
As a Showroom Staging Associate- Cutler Bay, we have a wonderful opportunity to join City Furniture's Visuals Team. As a Showroom Staging Associate you will assist Visual Merchandising Coordinator in product merchandising and maintenance of showrooms. This position will work to physically implement product layout changes and moves based on Marketing and Visual direction.
What you’ll do…
As a Showroom Staging Associate in Cutler Bay, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Assists in the product transition process for all product categories on display.
- Assisting Visual Merchandising Coordinator (VMC) with heavy lifting, hanging chandeliers and building newly delivered furniture.
- Support VMC by receiving, unpacking, and tagging of accessories.
- Proper installation of all product categories (rugs, lamps, chandeliers, power motion and electronics).
- Responsible for the showroom maintenance (interior and exterior).
- Collaborate with all Associates to ensure the success of the organization.

Salary: $16 per hour Monday through Friday On-Site (limited weekend hours)

What we are looking for….
Furniture experience is not needed to be exceptional in this role! If you have moderate knowledge of and ability to use tools required, heavy lifting, bending and be on your feet for long periods of time, this role may be your perfect fit!
Below are the required skills & qualifications for this role:
- Ability to work with basic tools (hammer, screwdrivers, allen wrenches)
- Ability to be on your feet 8 hours a day
- Highly organized with a high attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team, or independently with little direct supervision
- Comfortable with heights (12ft ladder)
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent lifting and the use of ladders, etc.
- Travel from showroom to showroom required
- Valid FL Driver’s License
- High school diploma or equivalent
Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required; additional languages such as Creole, Portuguese, etc. are a plus
