We are a men's grooming salon offering high end (5 stars) services to our clients. We are located on Capitol Hill, Washington D.C.

We are looking for a hard working, smart & quick-thinking person who loves working in a team environment with a positive spirit and energy. Job duties include:

• Arriving at the shop 1 hour before the first appointment
• Greeting clients, checking their appointments, servicing them, checking them out,...etc.
• Answering phone calls.
• Handling Scheduling
• Maintaining the shop cleanness during the working hours.
• Shampooing, conditioning & blow drying clients' hair (15 min/client)
• Do light hair cutting/cleaning

Working Hours:

• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
• Saturday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
• Sunday 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.

The job is demanding but simple.

Basically, an assistant comes to the shop early in the morning opens it & prepare it for the day, then goes to the reception desk handles any calls coming to shop, when a client arrives to the shop they welcome him, service him a beverage, seats him on the barbering chair, shampoos conditions & blow drys his hair to get him ready for the barber to cut his hair, then goes back to the desk until a new client comes in. When a client finishes his service, the assistant checks him out, schedules his next appointment and greet him to the door.

**Must have: previous customer support experience, able to work long hours (1 hr break), have a degree/license in barbering, cosmetology or hair styling.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $450.00 - $500.00 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• On call
• Weekend availability
