Overview:
- Wrap pallets coming off production line.
- Put code date and item number on each pallet.
- Have warehouse space available for days run.
- Making sure all paper work is properly signed and dated, following proper GMP’s.
- Record all shipping and receiving documents (e.g. warehouse labels, inspection sheet, etc.)
- Have warehouse space available for all incoming freight.
- Run and print labels
- Ensures compliance to quality, food safety and HACCP support programs; assures conformity to all company, customer, and government standards in work area.
- Follow GSO’s and other policies that are designed to improve safety.
- Ensures compliance with preventive controls as laid out in Food Safety Plan (FSP).
- Help on breaks when needed.
- Keep empty pallets available for package line.
- Report any issues with the tow motor that require repairs.
- Fill out daily forklift inspections.
- Check daily case count and report to Packaging Operator.
- Assist with Master Sanitation Schedule.
- May be responsible for process controls as laid out in FSP.
Qualifications:
- Must be dependable, reliable, and able
- Must have good math and reading skills
- Must be familiar with computers.
- Understands company product codes and terminology.

Working Conditions/Environment:
- Works in a manufacturing environment where employee may be required to speak, read, stand, walk, reach, lift and bend while performing job duties.
- Must be able to stand for a standard 8-10 hour shift, with regular breaks performing repetitive work. Overtime and/or weekend work may be required.
- Earplugs, hairnets, beard nets (if applicable), shirt apparel with no buttons or pockets are required in plant in accordance with company GMP and safety standards.
