Our St. Henry Processing plant in Mercer County, Ohio, prepares the turkeys for further processing and distribution. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 2nd shift Shipping Group Leader to join our team in St. Henry.
SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday approximately 3:00pm-11:30pm
STARTING HOURLY RATE: $19.15-$22.30 with a potential increase after 90 days
Job functions include:
- Making daily job assignments and assisting in yearly inventory.
Assisting supervisor in the proper training and improvement of all departmental team members
- Reporting to supervisors or managers any changes, accomplishments or problems that are occurring in the shipping area
- Monitoring the loading of trailers to ensure orders are filled and trailers are loaded correctly as well as, monitoring truck arrivals, departures and schedules.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a forklift or high lift license with 2 years of experience
- Ability to tolerate cold (approximately 42 degrees Fahrenheit) environment
