We are currently seeking a Shipping Clerk in Cleveland, OH. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for preparing items for shipment and examining outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specifications. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a Manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare items for shipment and examine outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specifications.
- Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Determine the method of shipment, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
- Affix labels on packed cartons/stencils identifying shipping information on the carton using stencils.
- Select pre-assembled container, insert items into the container, using spacers, fillers, padding.
- Nail cover on wooden crate and then bind with plastic/metal strapping with a strapping machine.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of experience working in a Manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift 30-50 pounds.
