SSP America operates the food, beverage, bars and retail locations throughout the Eastern Iowa Airport located in Cedar Rapids, IA
We are currently hiring for Shift Managers to supervise our locations located inside the Eastern Iowa Airport.
This shift availability would be from 4AM-4PM with Weekend Availability.
Here are a few things you can expect when you join our team as a Shift Supervisor:
- Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner
- Run shifts according to SSP standards and operating procedures
- Train new hires on operational standards and processes
- Complete opening, on-going, and closing checklists as required
- Provide support, coaching and direction to team to deliver business goals
- Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate for this position has:
- Can pass a 10-Year TSA Background Check
- At least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the food & beverage industry
- Full Service and/or Quick Service restaurant experience, preferred
- Proven track record of resolving uncomfortable situations with clients, customers, peers and direct reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
