The Service Tech Support will be working alongside our Service Technicians and will be responsible for repairing and refurbishing product that is below our standard quality level as part of quality assurance processes and/or customer service efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Move pallets of machines and materials in and out of the Service Shop
- Unbox, repair, and/or refurbish products to be returned to customer or added back into inventory
- Work alongside seasoned professional to expand experience and gain knowledge of valuable skills related to the Service Technician role.
- Verify quality of finished goods to align with quality assurance processes
- Repackage products to be returned to customer or inventory
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Proficient with Microsoft office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
- Must exhibit a positive attitude, team spirit, cooperation and a willingness to learn
- Strong written and oral communication skills with high attention to detail
- Experience with Epicor ERP software desired but not required
Environment & Physical Requirements
- Exposed to a normal manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, kneel or crouch for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
- May be exposed to mechanical or electrical hazards, therefore personal protective equipment must be worn as necessary.
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, pull, walk, stretch, reach or lift over head
