Overview:
Wesley Village is currently hiring for Service Assistant positions which includes the opportunity to complete a Certified Nursing Assistant training program and gain hands on experience. Full time opportunities available.

Service Assistant position and paid on the job training starting at $15/hr. Once certified pay increases to $18/hr.

Responsibilities:
What will I do?
  • Transport residents to and from rooms, dining rooms, hallways and other areas in the facility.
  • Accompany residents during meals and activities.
  • Answer call bells and report resident needs to nursing staff.
  • Report any unsafe conditions to nurse management.
  • Report all incidents of suspected or potential resident abuse to Charge Nurse immediately.
  • Will not administer any hands-on care to residents, including feeding, toileting, bathing, administering drinks, or transferring.
  • Complete CNA training course and practicum experience
    • CNA training course will be scheduled once there are at least 8 Service Assistants working within our facility
    • CNA training course requires the ability to commit to 2 weeks of in class training at LCCC (evening and weekend hours required) and 2 weeks of practicum training at Wesley Village (day time hours required)
    • Once CNA classes and practicum have been completed Service Assistant has 120 days to take and pass the CNA test (assistance to schedule and study for test is provided)
    • Once CNA test is passed employee changes from Service Assistant to CNA position which includes a pay increase
