Weare currently hiring a Senior Technical Lead – UKG/ Kronos to join our growing Digital Technology team! We offer a flexible work arrangement this role will be a hybrid work arrangement between home and office. Ideally, this role would be a flexible work arrangement in one of the following locations, but we are open to remote candidates as well: Dallas, TX, Pittsburgh, PA, Cudahy, WI, Monroe, NC, Millersburg, OR.

As a Senior Technical Lead – UKG/ Kronos, you will be responsible for gathering the requirements from the business and provide guidance and support to the technical team and end users on Kronos configurations, functionalities, and best practices.Currently, ATI uses Workforce Central and will be migrating to Kronos Dimension over the next couple years. Additionally, you will manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring quality and compliance with customer expectations. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams such as payroll, HR, IT, etc.to ensure smooth integration and implementation of Kronos solutions and defect resolutions.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Interact with internal business stakeholders and cross functional teams including HR Business Partners
  • Manages application support and enhancement projects working with the HR Technology team, HR Process Owners and other stakeholders.
  • Responsible for systematic intake and coordination of the design, build, test, and deploy phases of the application in accordance with established governance.
  • Responsible for Tier 2 support escalations and issue resolution, supports change management with system information
  • Compliance and other upstream and downstream system owners such as Labor and Payroll, to gather, and define requirements
  • Actively work to standardize process and advocates best practices
  • Manage Kronos systems configuration and provides support to HR and Payroll Managers
  • Be point of contact with Kronos Users and do an initial triage of the production issues and understand the parties to be involved for the resolution (Network, UKG, IT/Business users)
  • Engage with IT and UKG teams to design application custom solutions and provide end user support
  • Configure the different modules of the timekeeping application including Pay Policy, Accrual Policy, Attendance
  • Policy based on the business requirements to ensure compliance with labor laws and business policy
  • Solid experience in configuring, testing of Clocks (9100 Intouch models) and troubleshooting Clock related issues
  • Participate in Compliance Team meetings, keeping Kronos configuration and maintenance in mind when making recommendations for policy decisions
  • Prepare requirements definition for interfaces and product enhancements, and managers implementation
  • Strong Reporting, Workflow Analytics experience is preferred
  • Develop design, test documentation and participate in creating test scenarios
  • Work Independently and take ownership of projects
  • Troubleshoot issues, determine problem cause and resolution
  • Provide systems guidance and coaching to Payroll Managers, as needed
  • Update training materials, as new functionality is added
  • Additional duties as assigned by leadership

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree in data science, computer science or another IT discipline
  • At least 10 years of experience with solution design, build, and architecture that includes analytics, database management and data integration.
    • In lieu of a B.S. degree at least a high school diploma and 14 years of experience with solution design, build, and architecture that includes analytics, database management and data integration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Kronos Dimensions Implementation experience is preferred
  • Kronos certification or equivalent training

Skills

  • Must possess the ability to develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
  • Understanding of the analytics maturity curve and the differences between operational reporting and advanced analytics or prescriptive and descriptive analytics.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
  • Ability to clearly communicate ambiguous or highly complex concepts to all audiences.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to understand the big picture and align the day-to-day activities to support that picture
  • Ability to estimate the time, effort, and impact of use case requirements
  • Ability to quickly comprehend the function and capabilities of new technologies
