POSITION SUMMARY

• The Senior System Administrator is a mid-level IT role primarily responsible for the management and administration of Sage Health business systems that are not managed by Sage Health’s IT Managed Services Provider (MSP).
• Secondarily, the role is also responsible for providing back-up and rapid response capability for systems the IT MSP is responsible for managing, when necessary. These systems of secondary responsibility include, but are not limited to:
  • Microsoft 365
  • Exchange
  • Azure AD
  • Endpoint

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Primary systems management and administration responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Account creation, account changes, account termination, password resets
  • Management of access privileges
  • System configuration
  • Monitoring of system performance
  • System security
  • Interface with third-party system support teams
  • Management and escalation with third party support

• Position requires knowledge, skills, and abilities in the management of systems requiring on-going administration

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5-7 years IT experience
• Minimum 3-5 years System Administration experience, including but not limited to:
  • Experience with managing Microsoft Azure AD Security Groups
  • Experience with managing Microsoft Azure AD Mail-enabled Security Groups
  • Experience with managing Microsoft 365 Groups
  • Experience with managing Microsoft Distribution Groups
• Relevant technical certifications preferred
• Customer service focused
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Desire to learn new systems and technologies
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
• Experience working in a healthcare environment
• Experience working in value-based healthcare setting preferred
• Experienced working in medically underserved/culturally diverse communities
• Ability to primarily work remotely. (Prefer location within driving distance of a Sage Health Center; currently: Mobile, AL; Montgomery, AL; Gulfport, MS; Little Rock, AR; Bryant, AR; Baltimore, MD)
• Ability to occasionally travel in support of special company events such as: offsites, new hire orientations, command center operations, center openings, etc.
