Job Summary:.
The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for development, implementation, and operation of Healogics Information Technology infrastructure. The position reports to the Director of IT Infrastructure.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Leads the selection, development, and deployment of IT infrastructure to meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Provide assistance and consultation to less experienced team members
- Provide consultation to Management
- Recommend and install appropriate tools and countermeasures
- Ensures IT infrastructure operations is effective, reliable, efficient, and secure.
- Management vendor contracts, costs, and relationships.
- Key Technologies and Services include: servers, networks, telephony, email, directory and name services, AWS, Azure, M365, Windows, Linux, VMWare, and mobile device management.
- Key processes include: Asset management, Risk management, Cost management, Change Management, Performance and Capacity planning, Incident Response and Problem Management, Patch Management, System Backup, and Disaster Recovery.
Required Education, Experience and Credentials: (typically includes the following language)
- BS/BA degree is preferred.
- 10+ years experience in IT.
- 5+ years experience enterprise level infrastructure technology.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems
- O365, Azure, AWS cloud services
- VMWare
- Cisco Networks and Telephony
- The ability to work well independently or with a team
- Capable of meeting deadlines
- Energized by working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills (speaking, writing, and technical drawing).
- Strong process skills that enable effective technology deployments, and secure, complaint, and sustainable operations.
