We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect who will be working to build integration solutions to automate business processes for Amazon retail & direct fulfillment business. You have the technical background and experience to fluently interact with and provide guidance to software developers and architects, while also providing strategic technical guidance. You should be comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment, and contributing to innovative solutions, while demonstrating leadership, technical competence, and meticulousness.

In this role, you will be a Senior Solutions Architect that works with partners to automate B2B/EDI transactions with upstream suppliers and downstream customers using various integration technologies. You will have deep technical knowledge and work closely with internal business development, engineering and product organizations, but spend much of your time interacting directly with partners. You will combine your unbridled enthusiasm and deep knowledge of retail industry with your ability to work with external partners. You have the technical background and experience to fluently interact with and provide guidance to software developers and architects, while also providing strategic technical guidance. You will also be able to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges and map the intersection of partner needs and Amazon priorities.



Key job responsibilities

• Work closely and collaboratively with partner technology organizations. Drive dialog with engineering teams and program management to deliver integration services
• Develop & maintain Amazon B2B/EDI specifications, mapping, and technical integration artifacts as well as supplier configurations
• Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to automate all B2B/EDI transactions with upstream suppliers and downstream customers using integrations technologies
• Collaborate with global Amazon business teams to understand integration requirements and build solutions for automation
• Manage prioritization and trade-offs across partners and among customer experience, performance, and operational support load
• Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals

• Master’s degree
• 1+ years of experience in middle ware business process workflow design and development experience
• Familiarity with B2B/EDI system architecture, data migration and integration, designing fault-tolerant solutions
• Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts and manage trade-offs
• Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior audiences
• High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
• Experience with online retail shopping or physical retail
• Experience with supply chain and logistics

The pay range for this position in Jersey City is $153,600 - 207,800/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the Pay Transparency Regulation of Jersey City Municipal Code. Base pay information is based on market location.
