Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm (Shift: 8 hrs with flexible start time between 5AM to 8AM)

About the role:
Perform quality activities to support investigation process for returned complaint samples. Provide logistics support to technicians and quality engineers responsible for product analysis. Interface with other teams inside/outside post market quality to resolve issues related to product returns.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform decontamination of complaint samples that are explanted and returned after surgery.
• Perform decontamination of complaint samples not exposed to surgery environment.
• Fill out all forms related to documentation of product return/decontamination.
• Prepare the complaint samples for analysis by creating labels and putting them in carrier bags.
• Interface and work with other groups to correct discrepancies in RGA, complaint files, etc.
• Ship products to other locations as needed.
• Perform system transactions in SAP and complaint system related to return and scrapping of complaint samples.
• Identify areas of improvement and participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Train to all documents and procedures related to the job in a timely manner.
• Create spreadsheets or other documents using MS Office application.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow best practices in working and maintaining the decontamination lab.
• Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess good organization skills and able to multitask.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma/degree/equivalent
• 2+ years of working in a lab or professional office environment.
• Must have intermediate computer skills to use a computer with Windows 10 (or higher) and is familiar with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Must be detailed oriented & quality minded.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AA or BS degree
• Familiarity with SAP and other similar computer programs/tools
• Familiarity with FDA regulations related to medical devices including DHR, GDP, GMP, Complaint Handling, etc.

Rate of pay: $22.05 min - $29.80 mid - $37.50 max.
