Work Site: Patuxent River, MD
Work Location: Hybrid On-site & Telework (see COVID-19 procedures below)
**COVID-19 Procedures: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however training/tasking will require on-site work at least 2 days per week. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received.
Essential Functions:
- Lead, manage, and provide technical guidance for the Performance Metrics & Data Analytics Team responsible for application development and data analysis in support of NAWCAD Business Operations performance initiatives.
- Develop detailed project plans for monitoring and tracking progress of numerous complex data analysis projects.
- Meet with stakeholders to gather, analyze, breakdown, and document customer needs and requirements.
- Create and present briefs/whitepapers to high-level government leadership.
- Plan and facilitate sprint planning meetings, daily standups, and sprint reviews.
- Identify, track, and mitigate/resolve project risks/issues.
- Measure, monitor, and report on the performance of projects.
- Mentor, train, and guide technical team members.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
Required:
- 5 years' experience as a project manager, lead, or senior-level IT technical resource (software engineer, data analyst, BI developer, etc).
- Experience creating, coordinating, and tracking detailed complex project schedules and tasking required.
- Must be a team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to perform multiple tasks.
- Experience working in a DOD software development/data analytics environment desired.
- Experience working with a PM/CM tool like GitLab or TFS desired.
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Active Secret or Interim Secret is preferred. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
Education:
BS/BA degree and 10 years related experience OR AA/AS degree and 14 years related experience OR HS and 16 years related experience.
