Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager (PM) position is responsible for the creation, organization, execution, and completion of assigned client implementations and strategic projects across multiple departments and disciplines within Healthmap. The role is both internal facing and client facing. Candidate must be comfortable presenting and coordinating with clients and executive teams. This includes accountability across six different aspects: scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources. Tracking and alignment to Implementation & Project Management Office frameworks and methodologies is required.



Responsibilities
  • Assess, define, document, and communicate implementation/project scope, terms, and contractual requirements amongst team members and impacted stakeholders
  • Establish and communicate governance methodology and rosters for all project team members, accountable leaders, and executive sponsors
  • Assess and prepare for multi-project interdependency. Maintain awareness of Implementation & PMO portfolio and its potential impacts for assigned resources
  • Establish and create clear communication cadence protocols for all assigned implementations. Including coordination and facilitation of daily / weekly / monthly meetings and events
  • Create long and short-term plans, setting targets for project milestones, adhering to deadlines, and ensuring visibility to required resources to enable success
  • Maintain action item logs and applicable tracking for implementation / project workstreams – maintaining delivery target dates according to plan
  • Ensure quality controls and applicable testing occurs as required for assigned implementations projects
  • Organize and delegate tasks to employees best positioned to complete them
  • Identify project risks and addressing with mitigation plans/actions, while also resolving tangible issues that have occurred during execution
  • External coordination with applicable client or vendor counterparts to ensure aligned and coordinated cross organizational activities. Including facilitating in both executive and client facing arenas
  • Serve as a central point of contact when multiple teams and departments are involved with an assigned project. Work cross functionally to ensure continuity
  • Adjust and communicate shifts in project timeline to all impacted parties as necessary
  • Maintain routine status reports and distribute /present to leadership
  • Maintain a culture of collaboration, positivity, and motivation
  • Maintain all required project logs, organization, and project documentation
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related focus is required. Applicable experience will be considered in lieu of required degree
  • 7+ years of business management, cross functional leadership, and a minimum of 3 years project management experience is required
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry
  • Understanding of the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework is preferred
  • Knowledge and flexibility to deliver in a variety of project management methodologies (e.g., agile/scrum)
  • Ability to generate reports and analyze data
