Title: Senior Payroll Administrator

Department: Finance

Reports to: Senior Accounting Manager

Organizational Relationships:

Direct communication with all levels of management and personnel as well as various government agencies.

Basic Functions:

Responsible for the management and administration of payrolls and payroll tax filings for kdc/one locations: Port Jervis, Acupac, Chemaid, and Innovations.

Responsibilities:

1.Oversee all aspects of payroll processing and reporting along with interaction with all departments.

2.Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all wages, taxes and benefits to employees and agencies of all levels.

3.Responds in a timely manner to IRS and state agency inquiries pertaining to payroll taxes and wages.

4.Reconcile Quarters and W-2 for all companies.

5.Responsible for processing 3rd party sick pay for NJ and NY states.

6.Coordinate payroll of unused sick time with payroll vendor.

7.Coordinate with division for vacation payout for all employees.

8.Accumulate all data and prepare worker’s comp audit report for all accompanies.

9.Coordinate with H.R. department for minimum wage increases for both hourly and salaried employees and NY and NJ effective 12-31 of every year.

10.Provide gross wages report to H.R. for quarterly hourly bonus payout.

11.Verify new holiday pay schedule for coming year.

12.Any other duties as assigned by Senior Accounting Manager based on company needs or changes.

Job Title: Senior Payroll Administrator

Qualifications:

1.Four-year college degree in accounting or related experience with a high school diploma.

2.Five to ten years related experience in a payroll environment

3.Knowledge of payroll procedures and payroll taxes relative to federal, state, and local government agencies.

4.Excellent verbal, written and administrative skills.

5.Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.

6.Good time management and organizational skills.

7.Strong Excel skills.

8.Ability to maintain highly confidential information.

9.Ceridian Dayforce experience is preferred.
