We are seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator to join the ENTACT team in Illinois. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join an industry leader in environmental remediation construction.

Responsibilities include:

· Working in HR/Payroll Department with another payroll teammate. Will process full cycle weekly and bi-weekly payroll for multi-state/ multi-site operation including union and non-union for 850+ employees in over 30 (continual changing) project sites throughout the US.

· Review and audit payroll reports for accuracy and make necessary adjustments or corrections through established procedures.

· Prepare payroll reports as needed for accounting and other departments.

· Assist with audits and other payroll related requests.

· Maintain all employee data in systems ensuring high level data integrity.

· Process employment verifications, unemployment claims, other outside requests

· Prepare reports from HRIS system as needed.

· Provide support to our field staff and associates as needed.

· Special projects as assigned.

The ideal candidate will have:

· “Can-do” attitude, strong connection to team success, and strong relationships with teammates required.

· Minimum of 5 years experience processing payroll in a multi-state/ multi-site environment using a HRIS system with population of 500+

· Strong accounting background and job costing familiarity required.

· Must understand payroll tax set up/ unemployment tax set up.

· Must have knowledge in processing wage garnishments and child supports.

· Proficiency in MS Office Suite (word, excel).

· HRIS system – must rate themselves as above average to expert user with navigation, customization and report writing.

· Demonstrated working experience in all the job responsibilities listed above.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred experience:

· Paycor HRIS system; Viewpoint Construction software

· Construction industry experience

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
