Job Location: This position is located at 3418 Knipp Drive Suite E., Jefferson City, MO. Alternative locations will not be considered at this time.

Why you’ll love this position: The person in this position will work with a dedicated team of investigators while gaining new and valuable skills. This is a mostly independent position responsible for protecting the MO HealthNet program from fraud, waste, and abuse.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct timely investigations related to the legitimacy of Medicaid billings by providers and pre-enrollment investigations to determine if providers have met all enrollment requirements.
• Conduct site-visits of various providers and provider types, as requested.
• Conduct reviews of provider records, conduct interviews with providers/recipients, gather and preserve evidence, and write detailed and accurate investigative reports.
• Testify in court or before an administrative hearing team, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, 2 or more years of relevant experience, and relevant certification/licensure.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a law enforcement officer with responsibility for conducting investigations. This position requires close attention to detail, an aptitude for data analysis, and good verbal and written communication skills.
