Purpose

The purpose of the National Business Development position at PTG is to develop and maintain meaningful relationships with nationwide retailers, restaurants, automobile dealerships, banks, and corporate institutions that have not previously worked with ProMotion Technology Group.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies prospects by researching the industry and attending industry-hosted events
  • Locates or cultivates potential business opportunities by collaborating with vendor partners
  • Proactively identifies and creates new sales opportunities to increase company revenue
  • Works to stringent targets, this role will be required to adopt a professional and knowledgeable approach to each new sales opportunity
  • Increases revenue through generation of leads
  • Must be customer-oriented in order to explain our services to potential new clients, pitch the sale as well as be available to address issues or concerns
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential and proprietary
  • Participates in industry education opportunities, reading professional publications and maintaining/growing network of industry relationships
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value, and commitment to being a TRUE HUNTER
  • Works hand in hand with Account Manager to transition accounts, after client onboarding

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in B2B Sales
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • A/V Industry Experience preferred but not required
  • High-Level communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
  • Motivation to design and implement business development strategy
  • The ability to self-motivate with strong time management skills
  • Ability to work to and exceed targets
